Dandelion Mud Wrestling Rosters due!

Yes, it's the new year -- and that means rosters are due for the Mud Wrestling Tournament at the 2008 Dandelion Gathering!

A highlight of past Dandelions, the bitterly-contested title is currently held by the British Columbia Mud People, who used mud from seven different sacred sites to vanquish other regions in 2006.

An equally gripping competition is expected this year, with the final odds to be posted following early spring rains.

Rosters for mud-wrestling teams representing witchcamps, local ritual circles, and teaching guilds are due February 1st!

Dandelion 2008 - All the Infinite Possibilities

PLEASE FORWARD THROUGHOUT YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES - thank you.

Greetings Beautiful Witches of Reclaiming !
The next exciting Dandelion Gathering is fast approaching, and it is time to make your plans to attend, whether you are new to Reclaiming or growing up as a 3rd generation traditionalist, come enjoy what we are and create what we are becoming… All the Infinite Possibilities!

Dandelion Gathering is Reclaiming Tradition’s biennial event to make new friends, see old ones, participate in workshops and ritual, and assemble several sessions of BIRCH (Broader Intra-Reclaiming Council of Hubs – an organization created at the previous Dandelion Gathering to serve all parts of the evolving Reclaiming Community.)

Our dates this year are April 16 through 20, 2008, Wednesday to Sunday, and we will meet in the lovely rolling hills of Sonoma County, in the greening of Springtide.

The facility, Camp Newman, is home to fox, hawk, coyote, bobcat and deer; has many meeting and ritual spaces, both inside and out; and provides comfortable accommodations. There are hillside vineyards, lawns, fruit orchards and many play spaces including a younger children’s area with sandbox, indoor and outdoor play areas with some toys.

Fly into San Francisco, Oakland, or Sacramento Int. Airports, catch a 90-minute shuttle to Santa Rosa and we’ll meet you to get to Camp Newman…or alternately, rent a car and enjoy a drive through one of Northern California’s premier visitor destinations the Napa Valley.

Please see http://www.reclaiming.org/dandelion for more information and the registration form.

Yahoo Groups have been created for a variety of special interests and participation needs. We welcome your help decorating, creating special offerings and children’s activities, co-creating rituals, and many other tasks large and small…We especially seek 2 to 3 Red Cross certified Lifeguards for the Olympic size pool’s hours!

Registering as soon as possible is encouraged as we have reserved space for 200+ participants and final headcounts and payments are due in March…15th, 2008. We have some scholarships available for those who may need them. Register soon!

Please forward this to your local community lists, workshop and class lists and any to any other group or person that might be interested! Thank you!

Need a flyer for Dandelion III for upcoming Brigid rituals, classes, etc? Contact Urania at uraniawitch@... and she’ll get a copy to you.

Welcome and Blessings from the Dandelion 3 Organizers!!!
